Qualifications:
*Between the age of 18 to 27 (applicants will be asked to show proof of age with ID)
*Females: 5’5” and up, evenly proportioned, in good shape and clear complexion
*Males: 5’6” and up, evenly proportioned, in good shape, and clear complexion
*LITTLE to NO experience, undiscovered talent (professional models will be disqualified)
*All ethnicities welcomed
*Must be an Ohio resident
*Models MUST be available January 13th-17th 2007
*Finalist must be available for ALL face-to-face interviews (with a FULL JUDGE PANEL) and sessions (you are welcomed to bring a guest)
*ALL applicants MUST provide the minimum materials as listed for each entry to be considered (all materials become property of Style-ology LLC and will NOT be returned):

Male Modeling: Kellan Lutz

Kellan Lutz was born and raised North Dakota, the city didn’t have much to do besides playing games at the local arcade, hunting, or sledding in the snow. Although Kellan Lutz had a simple country upbringing he has done more in 21 years than most people ever do in a lifetime. He enjoys sky diving, parasailing, motor cross and white water rafting.

Kellan Lutz’s family moved to Arizona when he was 14. Kellan is the middle child of six brothers and one sister. After finishing high school Kellan he decided to not go to college and to instead go into modeling and acting. His family was not supportive of his decision, however they have since changed their opinions on this as he has always been working since his move to Los Angeles. As a Male Model he was on the cover of the Abercrombie & Fitch summer catalogue, and starred in a series of Levi's Jean ads.

Kellan Lutz’s first television opportunity was for CBS, in the recurring role of Rob on the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. He has also starred in HBO's, "The Comeback," opposite Lisa Kudrow, Kellan has also starred in Disney's "Stick It," in the Universal feature "Accepted", and in the films "Deep Winter" and "The Tribe".

Male Modeling: Manhunt

Did you tune into Manhunt this season on the Bravo Channel? Manhunt: The Search for America's Most Gorgeous Male Model turned America on to the world of male modeling by focusing the camera on the ever neglected world of male models with the first-ever search for the hottest male model. Unsuspecting men were plucked from the streets and invited to participate in a series of challenges to determine who had the looks, style, stamina and charisma to be a male supermodel. Manhunt: Consisted of eight, one-hour episodes and followed twenty men as scouts plucked them from America's streets, bars, gyms and colleges to see if they had the look, the fire and the style to be a model. Once chosen, the finalists travel around the United States to compete against each other in a series of challenges.

The winner received $100,000 for their modeling career. Jon Grimkell Helga came out on top as the winning male model in the Manhunt Competition. He was born in Reykjavik, Iceland on June 23, 1982. His family lived in New York and Colorado, they arrived in California when Jon was in the seventh grade. Jon enjoyed surfing, playing piano, clarinet, baritone and guitar. He has a special girlfriend that means the world to him. He studies Astrophysics at UC Santa Cruz.

I have a gorgeous hottie to tell you about today. Caco Ricci, now this man is one hot looking guy and it is no wonder that he is a very popular male model. Just one look at his gorgeous face and hot body and most girls will turn to mush. Caco Ricci was born on March 23rd 1978 in San Paulo, Brazil.

Skateboarding and male modeling, these two things seem like they don’t go together. However Josh Wald proves that they can. Most male models do everything they can to ensure their money making good looks and body does not get any kind of damage. They are very careful in everything they do; they use creams and lotions to keep their skin soft, smooth and flawless. They also use anti-aging products to keep looking as young as possible. Josh Wald though doesn’t let the risk of being hurt stop him from pursue his love of skateboarding. He is a professional skateboarder.

Jason Shaw grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He has two older brothers and one younger sister. Jason Shaw attended The University of Chicago and obtained a degree in history.

A ProScout Event was held in Chicago and Jason joined. He was the only male model selected out of many competitors. Jason Shaw signed with a agency in New York. His first break was with Abercrombie and Fitch.

Jason Shaw went on to land modeling jobs with Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, Calvin Klein, AB’95, Giani, Versace, Lacoste, Karl Lanerfield Frangrances, Ralph Lauren and GAP. He also walked in runways in Milan, Paris and New York.

Jason Shaw has become one of the most asked for male models. What is so special about Jason is his clean cut and very masculine face; he also has very sexy blue eyes. Jason a huge number of fans every where.

Jason Shaw also has the acting bug appeared in three episodes of Charmed, four episodes of Third Watch and the movie Liar’s Club among others. Jason is a very photographic and talented man. We will be seeing a lot more of this sexy man for a long time to come.

James Neate is a male model from Vancouver Canada. He is 6’1 with brown hair and blue eyes. James Neate was discovered by Liz Bell while walking the streets of Vancouver, he was then sent to New York.

James Neate says the person he would most like to meet is Jesus. He says this is because Jesus has always been good to him.

John Passavant has been modeling off and on since 1999. This 22 year old male model is an Estee Lauder favorite. He was born and raised in Pittsburg. John Passavant graduated from college with a degree in business communication. He says if he doesn’t enter the corporate world one day he may become a minister like his father.

John Passavant was a skinny child with braces and glasses until high school. He started working out and everything improved from then on.

John Passavant can be seen in ads for Arnani, Abercrombie and Fitch and Estee Lauder. He is the official male spokesman for Estee Lauder’s new scent, Beyond Paradise. This is only the second time in Estee Lauder’s history that they have has an official male spokesman. This will also be the largest campaign that Estee Lauder has ever done in the men’s category. This will be great move for John’s career.

John Passavant has said that he doesn’t date around. He has never dated a model, and any woman he is in a relationship with has to be really confident and not be threatened by his job. He has only has a couple relationships. John Passavant says if he wasn’t a model he would probably be in the armed forces.

Alabama has become well known for having exceptional musicians. Since Ruben Studdard, American Idol Winner, Bo Bice, American Idol runner up and Taylor Hicks American Idol 2006 Winner were discovered. However it appears Alabama also has some gorgeous male models. Travis walked into a modeling agency in Los Angeles; they immediately liked what they saw and Travis was booking work right off.

Male Model Ryan Daharsh was born in Crete, Nebraska near Lincoln, Nebraska. Ryan Daharsh was just a country boy way before he became Ryan Daharsh Male Model. After he finished high school Ryan worked for three and a half years at a bar his uncle owned.

Ryan Daharsh first became a male model for a store called Hollister. He also modeled for the stores catalog. That is how Abercrombie and Fitch discovered him. Abercrombie and Fitch’s head of marketing Ryan Scott spotted Ryan in the catalog and asked Ryan to model for them. Ryan plans to model for Abercrombie has long as they continue to call him.

When male model Ryan Daharsh isn’t modeling he likes to spend his free time watching movies, playing play station, motor cross, and lifting weights. Ryan is 6ft 1 and 180 lbs. You can bet he gets a lot of attention from females. All one has to do is look at him to see why.

Ryan Daharsh’s future endeavors do not only include male modeling. He wants to earn a degree in business. Ryan wants to open his own gym. I’m sure their will be lined up to get into his gym. Especially if Ryan is the trainer, or even if he just struts around and works out he will the eye candy.

Male modeling dont go plus size

Why are there no plus size male models?

You see, it is true that in the male modeling industry when it comes to males, its mostly about the male body. Why are there no plus size male models?

When was the belly not hot? Yhat is why women own the modeling industry... because they have the option of variety. That sucks!

As a male model, are you gay yet?

Why are 80% of male models gay? You know why?

Cause i do.

Because the male modeling industry is so competitive. Male models are constantly comparing themselves to other male models who might just look a little better and with that your constantly in competition with other male models.

This means you have men on the brain. lol

I am whiling out but anyway... its true if you are constantly around the same sex and to top it off you in competition with your looks your falling into a female genre and thats why most male models are feminine, flamboyant, and ...gay.
